Compare Cheap Hotels in Valletta

The San Karlu exceeded all of my hopes, with its location in the heart of old town Valletta. Service was excellent and so was the breakfast. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to holiday in an historic, beautifully renovated building with a nice pool and in walking distance to almost all of Valletta, particularly restaurants and bars.

The perfect central location, gave us multiple options for everything. The hotel was superb with wonderful facilities, friendly staff and cleanliness.we were able to pack everything and more into a four day break.

Internet was great as was the staff, the rooms. Clean & very convenient!

Overall, this is an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. It offers convenient access to the Three Cities, Sliema, and the Gozo ferry terminals. Key attractions like St. John’s Co-Cathedral, the lively Republic and Merchant Streets, Grand Harbour, Upper Barrakka Gardens, Triton Fountain, and the Valletta bus terminal are all within walking distance. Popular spots such as Mdina and Marsaxlokk are just a short drive away. The rooftop provides stunning views of the Carmelite Church dome and Fort Manoel. The staff are welcoming, and the hotel is well-maintained and clean.

The breakfast offered a lot of options, cooked to order. Balcony have great views of the harbour. Transport offered from airport which was a good deal and back again, very convenient. Very attentive, helpful staff.
