While the location was convenient, the room itself had several issues. The bed was inclined, there was quite a bit of noise, and cooking smells from the kitchen entered the room, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.

I have to say I've seen that many hotels and also worked at many hotels in my lifetime. This Holiday inn had the most incredible customer service. From the moment I booked to the moment we checked out, we experienced excellent customer service. The rooms were extremely clean. The hotel was extremely clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing. They also have an outdoor basketball court that we had no idea about until we got there and my kids were so excited. This hotel honestly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back!

Stayed 5 days in Richmond area and deliberately selected this hotel as it looked far out from the airport area and thought it would be quiet. Placed in room next to No 6 Rd. and it's really noisy with passing trucks and cars from 6:30am to evening. Hotel wasn't able to relocate me to another room. Other negatives were property showing age with things like frayed towels, someone else's hair on bed on inspection, smudges on surfaces, etc. the positives were staff were professional and friendly and the breakfast offered variety.

The hotel was very nice and considerate. We arrived at 9:00 AM, knowing that check-in was not until 4:00 PM, and only asked if we could leave our luggage. To our surprise, they kindly allowed us to check in right away at 9:00 AM. We were extremely grateful, especially after a long trip from Hawaii with two children. As a thoughtful bonus, they also provided free breakfast items such as apples, juices, and muffins. The staff’s kindness truly made our stay more comfortable. Thank you for such wonderful service!

Major complaint- Pool was closed for maintenance on first day. Second the temperature was a bit warm but swimmable. Third and last day it was boiling like the hot tub. My main purpose to stay here was to swim for rehab purposes. Very disappointed. Other than that staff was very friendly and helpful. Decor was modern.
