the single bed isn't comfortable there's like a hole or like a separation of 2 lines at the middle. so my back hurts a lil. the concierge guy told me lots of times about visitors curfew until 10pm. once is enough to me but its feels like I've been profiled. its annoying. i couldn't open the bathroom it's supposed to be shared bathroom.
Convenient location to public transit and downtown entertainment/food options. Front desk staff were also extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Showers/restrooms could be a bit cleaner given their shared nature. If you're solo traveling this is a pretty solid choice for a stay in downtown overall if you don't want a hostel but don't need the luxuries of a 4/5 star hotel.
Nothing negative at all! We loved our stay and would definitely come back once we visit Vancouver again 💕 so satisfied. Staffs are friendly, the place was clean. Everything is walking distance and I loved the design and structure of the hotel itself.
I really liked this hotel, based on the location and affordability. For an old hotel, it is well keeped. Don't forget to check the restaurant right beside the hotel, great food and nice staff.
Have you ever wondered what it's like to overpay to sleep in a closet? Well, heres your chance!
Smallest room I've been in, not even room for a bedside table. Tv barly works and is statickey, and you lose water pressure anytime someone else uses the water.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We had a room without an ensuite bathroom, but we had a wash basin and the shared bathrooms were spotless and always available. The aircon in the room was effective and the area seemed quiet at night.
I stayed at this location twice. The rooms were small and dated but very comfortable. The staff were very nice and very helpful. The only issue I suffered was a broken cable box which they replaced within about a half an hour. I guess the fact that I stayed there twice as everything. It was a short walk from the waterfront, and surrounded by great restaurants.
The property was nice. It was in a great location. The building was a bit old and the rooms were a bit small but they were very comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Everything worked well in the hotel. We stayed there twice. On our second time, the TV cable box is not working, but the staff fixed it immediately. I would happily stay at this hotel again.
Pros:
-location is the best. Very walkable to get almost anywhere downtown
-have ac
-clean rooms (but still has a weird smell)
-pretty quiet
Cons
-very old and outdated
-smells weird
-paid parking at 25/night. their website advertised free parking included when I originally booked
-really small rooms, double bed barely fits 2 people and no where to comfortably unpack or hangout
-Shower is so small with no shelves to put your shower stuff so I had to keep it in the sink and open the shower every time to grab it
-night time staff question you every time they buzz you in despite seeing you for 3 days in a row. Asking to see the key every time and asking how many people are on the reservation every time.
Honestly would not recommend. Disappointed that I spent over $1100 for 3 nights here.
It might be worth it if you’re alone and just need a quick place to sleep but otherwise don’t waste your money here.
