Loved the hotel and the staff. Breakfast buffet was good. Booked the junior suite room with balcony / terrace which was private but the balcony had no view as it was surrounded by high walls . The room was lovely and spacious , but mildly disappointing only because I had booked the roof top junior suite with terrace, which did provide a view. I did not not mention it to the hotel staff , because they were all so welcoming and lovely and the room did provide all the facilities we required. Silvie was very helpful , and provided us with lots of tips and how to navigate our way around Venice. Would absolutely recommend this Hotel to anyone who has no mobility issues , purely because there are no lifts , and stairs on entering the property to reach reception and rooms, but this is highlighted in the hotel description. We arrived after the check in times and we were provided very clear instructions prior to travelling regarding details on how to access the property on arrival and where we would locate our room keys. Everything was done to make the process so easy. We absolutely loved our stay and Venice too !

This B&B, although off the beaten path, is very quaint and has a very nice decor. The owners were pleasant and accommodating however our A/C unit was not functioning properly. The owner did acknowledge this and addressed it immediately. Attic dwelling in the intense summer heat with clay terra cotta shingles makes for a very uncomfortable stay. The breakfast was warm and well stocked, but our shower door access was just wide enough, about 10" in width to squeeze into and this made showering difficult. You can tell that the owners are attentive and have made a nice retreat away from the beaten path and worth inquiring.

Nice little B & B off the beaten path

Ca' San Giorgio was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was nice, the rooms were large and nicely appointed. I wish the pillows and shower were larger but small issues and the pillow issue was quickly corrected with an additional pillow upon request. It's a little off the beaten path which makes for a bit of a walk to places like San Marco square and getting large luggage was not easy having to cross bridges to get there but again first world issues and the place itself was worth the walk.

So pleased I booked Ca’ San Georgio. From being super helpful before we arrived to the day we left nothing was too much trouble. The room was absolutely gorgeous. We splashed out and booked the suite with the roof terrace. Although it was a little too hot to sit out during the day it was lovely to sit out in the evening. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Venice and is in such a beautiful part of the city with many wonderful places to eat. We will definitely be returning.

Best way to end our 30th Anniversary trip in Italy

We had an amazing stay. The staff of was extremely kind and helpful. We showed up late for the continental, but the staff went out of their way and made our morning enjoyable, thank you! They also helped set up our return trip to the Venice Airport, making for a stress free departure. Our plane was leaving very early for our return home, so the staff put croissants and fruit at our room so we had a little something before we left. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing, which was nice to come home to every night.We are so grateful for the hospitality, kindness and help. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!
