Cheap Hotels in Villas Del Mar

I loved this place so much I extended my stay! it’s not like Punta Cana all-inclusives but the staff is friendly and attentive. Darianny and Anna at the front desk are fantastic. The two bartenders, the Santos, are so fun and engaging. The beach is small but clear and calm, great for snorkeling. The pool is big with a smal swim up bar. The food was very good, both dinner and breakfast. The lobby bar is 24 hours and there’s a beach buffet with burger and fried chicken that’s 24 hours also. You don’t see that in Punta Cana. I will be staying here again. Not 5 stars, but it has what I need.

Nightmare Rental Experience in Marbella: Left Stranded with No Refund After months of planning my Marbella vacation, I arrived at what should have been a perfect beachside apartment only to find myself locked out with no way to enter. The owner was completely unreachable - all calls went to voicemail and messages through the booking platform, emails, and texts went unanswered. After waiting two hours in the scorching sun with my luggage, I was forced to book a last-minute hotel at premium rates. The owner finally responded the next day with a brief, unapologetic message claiming "phone issues" and offering to let me check in a day late - without any compensation. When I requested a refund citing their failure to provide the agreed-upon accommodation, they refused, hiding behind their strict cancellation policy. The booking platform has been equally unhelpful, siding with the owner despite clear evidence of communication failure. I strongly caution anyone considering this property or owner. What should have been the start of a relaxing vacation turned into an expensive, stressful ordeal that could have been avoided with basic professional courtesy. One star, and that's being generous.

An amazing place, idyllic beach with plenty of pools and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The room (more like an apartment) was great, very clean and lovely cleaning staff who put extra effort in. The restaurants are quite expensive and probably not worth the price, but there are enough other options within a 5 minute walk, so this isn’t a problem. The hotel grounds and beach are beautiful. We spent most days just going between the beach, sea and pool and still miss it weeks after leaving. Wish we were back there. The extra activities like horse riding and sports facilities weren’t explained to us, but maybe they’d be available if you ask about them. Plus there are some lovely cats and kittens wandering about who are very affectionate if you’re kind to them!

Staff went over and beyond to accommodate even having the security to make sure the bookings was secured with late night access.

We totally enjoyed our stay at this property. It's a beautiful apartment with everything one needs. The view of the pool and beach is magnificent. There's a grocery store snd several restaurants right across the street. There's also a bar and restaurant right by the pool. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I was able to communicate with the owner if I had a question and she always got right back to me.
