It is one of the National Trust's most visited properties, with over 390,000 visitors annually. Waddesdon Manor won Visit England's Large Visitor Attraction of the Year category in 2017. The manor was built for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in the Neo-Renaissance style of a French château. Aviary, lovely gardens, fountains, stables and nice shop. Apparently it's really nice for the Christmas lights as well.

This French-style country house in England was actually built by the Rothschilds in the late 19th century. It looks very authentic, but apparently used contemporary building techniques including a steel frame.

The spa area was more like a public swimming pool. Cramped, noise and dirty. Not a relaxing spa break hotel for sure!
