Pros: beautiful pool that is very kid friendly with water slides and sandy fake beach pool. Daily room cleaning was excellent. Beautiful landscaping and grounds. Having a kitchen was great. Cons: some friendly staff, but many staff didn’t seem very friendly. Many don’t say hello or even smile, especially at the pool. Beware of hidden fees. We got the “included”breakfast but it was only for 2 people (kids are not free and cost an extra $14 each). The resort is far from the beach and other food options. Rent a car or you’ll be annoyed waiting for a shuttle all the time.

Very clean, nice rooms. Excellent location with dining/shopping within walking distance. Beach was very nice, a very short walk away.

Visited during the Kona storm. Was not able to use pool as much as would have liked. The grounds of the property is beautiful even in the rain. Loved being able to watch the dolphins from my balcony every morning when drinking coffee and watching the rain.

I wish I had read the reviews before I stayed at Ocean Tower - the carpet was disgusting, stained couch, yellowed sheets and the air conditioning barely worked. The room was unbearably hot for sleeping. The kind staff was the only saving grace. I didn't mind all the walking but if you don't like to walk it would be a problem since the tram does not come often.

Beautiful property! Very quiet and safe community. Perfect for a relaxing vacation getaway. Will definitely come back!
