The room was immaculate as was the service provided. Please don't forget to let the front desk know about the included breakfast you may have purchased with Expedia. They happily refunded me when I forgot to ask which was nice. The views provided by the hotel were incredible. Would've happily stayed in the vacation village my entire stay!!!! Side note..... night Security (tall female short hair with glasses) was so incredibly rude. She kicked out my family and myself out of the pool area because we didn't have our wristbands. (we weren't wearing them because we were staying for 5 days and didn't want to be uncomfortable ) The security woman was so unforgiving and brutal with us. Her demeanor alone made us all second think a return stay. However, it's our annual trip destination and we have had many great experiences in Waikoloa. I only wish someone would remind that woman to treat people with kindness and understanding because we select Waikoloa to relax, have fun and enjoy our stay and not to be at the mercy of unfriendly, annoyed disgruntled staff,

Room was old, at best it's ok. Commute from ocean tower to main lobby is painful, either you walk or use the train / tram, that takes forever. Carrying the luggage from main lobby to room, odds painful. Included breakfast is for a small coffee shop, limited to only few items. Not much of food option inside the resort. Won't recommend this option.

Rooms need to be renovated. Our room smelled like mold, little bugs crawling, carpet is very very old. We asked for new room after 3 days they offered another old room. Landscaping is nice but the rooms are horrible. We will stay somewhere else next time for sure.
