I found the staff to be very nice and helpful, especially Kimara, who greeted me multiple times. She was awesome and always made me feel very welcome and glad I made the choice to stay here!
This is a large Hilton complex with the Ocean Tower being a long way from the main lobby. Once you get your bearings it turns out to be about a 12 minute walk between the two. There is a tram to take you around, but if your luck is like mine, just as you walk up to the loading platform the tram is just taking off.
This is the first time I got to stay in one of the rooms that has been converted to a time share. Even though I didn’t use most of them having a microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer can be handy. But there are some features that seem totally senseless to me. Like having a toilet that has a lid that opens and water sprays automatically with light or motion in the bathroom, regardless if you have any intention of using it. Or a bathroom without an exhaust fan that has a shower with a large glass door that opens outwards so all the water on the door falls onto the floor.
