I was really surprised by the overall service at the hotel. It felt like not all of the staff was trained on how to interact with customers. My colleagues and I both experienced multiple truly amazingly bad interactions with your staff. Honestly, these instances were so surreal that it's probably got me looking at the whole trip through an unwarranted lens, making other parts of my stay seem subpar when it probably was okay.
It is not my intention to point fingers at someone, I'm not looking to get anyone fired over this which is why I am purposefully being a little vague. I don't usually respond to these follow up surveys, I truly feel I am being helpful to your business when I say customer service training for your staff, especially in food service areas would be most beneficial for the overall experience of future customers at your establishment.

it was nice, ocean tower didn’t do virtual check in which was challenging but overall a good experience
The grounds were gorgeous with abundance of plants and statues. The entire property had countless museum quality items to view. Staff was very courteous. We got some parking credit bc we waited a little bit for our room inspection upon check-in. They also gave us mauna loa chocolate covered macadamia nut as a gift. Sunsets were amazing! Walks on the beach/rocks were fun.
Really big resort and easy to get a little turned around, but pool and grounds are beautiful. Rooms could use a little upgrading, but overall nice stay.

The room was clean, a little dated, but the view was incredible.
Love being able to walk out onto the green. Wish there was a way to lock the patio door from the outside but no one ever broke into our room when we did leave the door unsecured. Snorkeling in the lagoon was surprisingly great - saw eels, spotted eagle rays, turtles, and if course fish. Recommend getting in the water before the lagoon gets too busy (1030ish). Enjoyed the pool facilities at the Waikoloa Village side more - just a quick 10 min walk from Ocean Towers. Gorgeous grounds.
Wonderful rooms! Updated, spacious, wonderful views! Highly recommend. This location is better than the other Hilton’s in this area..

The check in process was SO confusing I almost booked a different hotel. First you need to pull up to valet, and give them all your bags since your room is 3 tram stops away. Then you have to decide between $45 per day self parking or $55 per day parking. All of this should be provided before you book your hotel. It felt like they wanted you stuck on the campus. It took an hour from the moment I pulled up to check in, to get to my room and another 15 minutes for my bags. It was a 0.67 mile walk from the main lobby to my room. It’s such a big place, you’ll get lost. I called ahead and they told me I didn’t have a full kitchen, but I did. Luckily I already bought my groceries knowing I had a fridge and microwave. My tv never worked because it was a separate WiFi than the room (which never got fixed) The staff was very friendly. I will never book this place in the future.
