If you’re looking for a unique place to stay in Waitomo that will not disappoint, this is the place. The hosts are next level hospital, particularly “Ratbag” and you’ll be hard pressed to beat the views. Tranquil, peaceful, cosy, relaxing and truly restorative. No, you won’t get wifi or room service but what you will get is your own private glowworm grotto, breathtaking views and leave feeling warm, loved and wishing you could stay longer. Truly unforgettable accommodation.

Everything was great and would definitely stay again. Hours of local restaurants were not optimal for us so check ahead and see if it works for you. Front desk staff was helpful and it’s close to so many caves and bushwalks.

The staff was great and so was the Chicken Curry! Parking is a pain.

Our room was water damaged so they changed us to a larger room at no extra cost. Definitely recommend great service
