Compare Hotels with Parking in Walker

Very well maintained property, great helpful staff in all areas, fantastic views, fantastic small casino nice store next door with everything I could use but no milk available, the restaurant was great accept one nights dinner was a disaster for me, I ordered fish and chips, the fish coating was cooked to a hard as a rock, burnt looking finish. The server told me there was a problem with the oil in the fryer, said fish, chicken, everything was coming out that way. So didn’t eat any of it except for small salad. Wasn’t charged for it and he took 15% off on my wife’s meal. Next day a server said the cook was told about the problem but said he didn’t have the time to change it. We stayed 3 nights and had all our meals there. this one meal was the only negative experience. This is a fantastic place to stay and very affordable.

I have stayed here for 15 years and over the last couple of years it keeps getting worse. Heater vent rattles in the wind all night long, no interior/ exterior seating, no ice, Tv is great if you like watching shopping network and the weather, exterior of the building is deteriorating. Room was clean, firm bed, coffee with sugar. The desk clerk had difficulty with communicating.

Breakfast was a serious concern. Scrambled egg was really bad and it was like a health concern in my view. it was seriously not in eating condition. Overall breakfast was below the average. Also, the entrance of the hotel is not properly marked from the main highway, I'd to take two rounds to find the entrance of the hotel and park. IN the dark, it will be very hard to find. Overall my experience was below the average. Location is good. May be this hotel need better management and far better breakfast menu for the travelors.

Second time staying here. Great stay just like the last time. the remodel is great. Definitely will stay here again
