Book Kirkwood hotels

Should you choose to visit Kirkwood, book your room ASAP, as you won't find many hotel choices in close proximity to the town centre.

Although Kirkwood's not exactly known as Lake Tahoe's hotel hot spot, it does feature the Kirkwood Resort, which is relatively close to the city centre.

30 kilometres from the centre of Kirkwood is the Grand Residences by Marriott, Tahoe - 1 to 3 bedrooms & Pent. Alternatively, the The Landing Resort and Spa can be found 30 kilometres away. Two more hotel and apartment options around this area are the Tahoe Seasons Resort, a VRI resort and the Marriott's Timber Lodge.

The wider Northern California region is definitely worth seeing also. Explore the art museums in Northern California, or simply head off and enjoy its mountains and valleys. Or spend some time snowboarding and skiing while you're here.

It is well known that we Aussies just love to relax, so consider staying a little longer and check out the Heavenly Ski Resort and Emerald Bay State Park, which you'll find in South Lake Tahoe, 20 kilometres to the north of Kirkwood.
