Excellent - highly recommend

Excellent stay. We booked a two bedroom suite, which was huge, well appointed. Comfortable furniture, huge beds and super fast Wifi was a bonus. Location was excellent - a couple of minutes walk to the White House and easy access to key tourist destinations. We walked much of the city, but also only a few minutes to the closest Metro.

Good location for getting around DC

We stayed here for an anniversary trip. Overall everything was good, I’d give it 4 1/2 stars. The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable, but it was a nice hotel and great to have the extra space. Location was very convenient to a metro station and the White House. The bathroom had a deep soaking tub, which was nice for a hot bath, but this also made it difficult to get in and out of for someone vertically challenged. I would stay here again for the location and extra space. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

So, website said 4 star… I have three stars due to some issues. First, they do not have maid service for any stay under 7 nights. We stayed 5 so we had no soap for dishes, trash piled up in kitchen. Second, The property seemed really nice on outside and downstairs. But, dents in walls, cracks and chips in countertops. Third, no restaurant or even snack place on site. There was nothing to do for the kids. We spent quite a bit of money (the same amount that could have spent at Hay-Adams) just was okay. Only redeeming reason to stay again would be the staff. They were all an absolute delight. If the property can be updated on units they would have 5 stars.
