I arrived at the hotel at 10 pm and waited for almost 30 minutes because the door keys didn't work. The front desk opened the door for me and only the next day did I get the key to my room (I had to test the keys almost 10 times to see if they were working).

The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very kind. Location was great, we were able to walk to alot of places and catch the metro. The hotel was undergoing some renovations but it didn’t interfere with our stay.

Walking in off the street, there was no signage, just an empty room with an elevator and stairs. I went upstairs to find what seemed to be the reception area, but it was under construction, and there weren't any employees to be seen. Other people waiting assured me I was in the right place. After some time, I watched the front desk person notify a wheelchair-bound guest that they did not have the accessible room he had reserved. I did get my room. It was suitable but run down. There is nothing impressive about this property, staff, or neighborhood. The picture they used of the rooftop lounge is aspirational, not reality. Look elsewhere if you desire comfort and safety.

Terrible stay as hotel was under construction. Front entrance and desk area was being demo'ed upon arrival. Check in took forever as computers were not working. Parking was a disaster as pass woul not work at exit. Construction was loud and hotel and rooms smelled of glue and paint fumes. The AC was loud and screeched until we turned it off. We had to take two different elevators to go up and down. The restaurant and bar is not complete. We were disappointed with the whole experience!

The woman checking us in at 4:30pm silently stared at the computer for at least five minutes without speaking to us. When we got to our room, someone was inside, which was startling. She said she was doing a “final check” however there were hairs in the bathroom and small pieces of debris on the couch. The lights in the bedroom went off and on by themselves. The air conditioning was so loud and sounded like emergency vehicles on down on the street. There was drilling going on right above us. Someone knocked and then immediately tried to enter our room while we were still in bed this morning even with the door hang indicating privacy. About an hour later as I was getting out of the shower it happened again. The whole experience was stressful. The location is great though!

This is a wonderful hotel at a fair cost! It is in a solid location and the staff were all so friendly. The only critique I have is that self parking is not as clearly advertised as the valet parking. Again, with the fair price of the hotel, it's not the end of the world to deal with valet services.
