Water problems

One day we had no hot water and the water pressure was horrible. Other than the water problems we had no issues with the rest of our stay.

I like the location, very convenient to visit the museums and the National Mall and a very quiet place. The facilities need a lot of updates in the showers, walls, rugs, the humidity smells is the welcoming to the room.

Property does not have a functioning pool like photos show! It’s covered with a ripped black plastic sheet and has clearly been out of action for years! The hotel had no breakfast one morning either, so we got sent to the Comfort Inn next door for breakfast!

On ART 87 bus line to Pentagon metro. On ART 84 bus line to Pentagon City metro & shopping + food court. On weekends buses may not run; take metro to Pentagon City then go to taxi stand.Take taxi for 3 mile ride on I395 to hotel. (ride about $15) In room refrigerator but no microwave. Wifi satisfactory. More upscale Comfort Inn in back same property.

Stay far away

We arrived 55 minutes before check-in time and I asked the front desk if we could possibly check in early. The front desk lady was very unfriendly and informed me that there would be a $50 charge to check in early. Meaning the room is ready but you will pay for it. We had to find something to do bc we were unwilling to pay that. When we came back there was a very friendly gentlemen checking us in. They put a $200 hold on your card which I have never had a hotel put such a large hold before. Upon entering the room we all grabbed our noses because of the smoke and mildew smell in the room. The room looked run down, bedding is dingy and the beds sloppily made. I went to use the bathroom only to be greeted by a one inch cockroach dead on it's back in the center of the floor. There were ants coming in and out of the sink. My husband was fighting getting the door closed because it wasn't lining up. once it was closed we realized you can see straight outside because the bottom of the door isn't sealed or lined up with the threshold allowing any bug to enter the room. The bathroom ceiling has been painted a million times to cover up mildew and bubbling. It was so repulsive we left and never stayed. I couldn't imagine trying to sleep in that room with my family. Do not stay here unless you have very low standards for a hotel room. I wish we could get our money back. It's beyond changing rooms because of bugs, it's in desperate need.

Everything was great overall. Staff was super friendly. Place was nice and quiet. Rooms were way bigger than I was expecting. It was when we were leaving and cleaning up that I noticed the cover on the mattress u see the sheets and all the bedding had a large mark that looked like it was molding. I bring my own blankets anyway so it’s not like it was something I touched but it’s definitely something that should be replaced.

I’ve used hand towels larger than the bath towels. The tub wouldn’t drain. Random hairs on walls. Very run down. To make matters worse, my car was towed. $27 cab ride, $195 impound, I should have just spent the extra money and stayed in a better hotel. Safe yourself the trouble! I find it interesting that the tow fee and the deposit fee are nearly identical.

We drove 18 hours with 5 children to get to Arlington and when i pulled up to this place i knew immediately that we could not stay there. We booked this place a month in advance and i paid for the protection plan through Expedia. There was a homeless crack head walking around and the place had a darkness to it. It felt very unsafe. I found another place for us to stay and then request a refund but the property owner refused. I’ve yet to receive a refund from Expedia either.

If you can afford better, get so.ething better

When we arrived to our "King Suite" it was just two connecting rooms with the connecting door removed from the frame. The air conditioner in one of those rooms barely worked, and one of the toilets wouldnt flush. The following evening the lights in the other bathroom stopped working. If you are on a budget, this might be the place for you, but watch out as they will nickle and dime you.

Very good but no pool

Breakfast was very good, eggs, bacon, pancakes, has browns, bread, bagels, juice & cereal. Location was perfect for seeing D.C. However we were upset that the pool wasn’t opened for the season, and we couldn’t get wifi in the room.

Staff person on the phone was very rude. Though we have booked tickets from June 28 to July 1. They did not consider us because we couldn’t make on June 28. I did received any call/email from the hotel pentagon dc asking for the reason of delay on our arrival. They didn’t gave accommodations the next day.

The beds were ok and the air-conditioning worked, and we got fresh sheets eveyday. BUT the paint in the bathroom was peeling heavly, we killed 5 roaches, the towel rack in the bathroom was falling of the wall, the hot and cold water was erratic, and the tv reception was sub par. Oh and they closed the pool indefinitely during the heat wave. Another good thing is when we complained about the problems, they fixed it promptly. When we were leaving they did have an exterminators truck on the property.
