Compare Ski Hotels in Wheeling

They were supposed to have hot breakfast on weekends from 7 to 10 am. I went down at about 8:00 in the morning, and there were no scrambled eggs left. I mentioned it to the desk staff, and they said that they would have the cook make more. Went it down again just before 9:00, And both the egg and sausage pot trays had been removed. No eggs and sausage at all. We reserved the place because it was supposed to have hot breakfast. My girlfriend heard that the manager doesn't buy enough food for breakfasts on the weekend, and when it runs out.... Oh well... Otherwise the room was fairly quiet, clean and comfortable. But they also changed the checkout time to 11:00 from noon. The other reason we booked that hotel is because we wanted to sleep in a bit more. Supposedly they're converting to a Hilton. I will be contacting Hilton to let them know that the hotel manager is not doing a very good job of managing at least the breakfast situation. Very disappointing.

The location was perfect, breakfast was amazing both days, staff were helpful at every request, the aquatic center was just right for the kids (and adults), and the room was cozy. If I need a hotel in the area again, I’ll be going back here.

Mold in shower and slow to drain. No bathroom fan. Room was average at best in size and cleanliness. Plenty of parking. Lounge area and bistro was nice and clean.

Breakfast was okay. Parking filled up fast.

On Expedia, this property is listed as No pets allowed, which is why we chose it. I have allergies and need a no pet location. While there, we saw several dogs in the hotel. Their actual website says pets allowed. Expedia has the wrong information!!!
