Very nice accommodation plus lovely rural views. Easy to find the farm stay and enjoyed feeding the sheep. Hosts made us feel very welcome.

A beautiful and peaceful place—we really enjoyed our stay, and so did our dog! The only suggestion would be to upgrade some of the cooking essentials, such as the chopping board and knives, as we felt limited when preparing meals.

I had an unforgettable stay at this incredible house during my wedding weekend with my family. Perched on top of a hill, the property offered breathtaking views of lush greenery and fields dotted with animals, creating a serene and picturesque setting. The atmosphere was wonderfully peaceful, and the property itself was stunning—perfect for capturing beautiful pre-wedding photos. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway!

This beautiful spot along the Abercrombie River was the ideal setting for a getaway with friends. Our group of six stayed in the Barn, which exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and amenities. The Barn is designed perfectly for a group, with comfortable beds, open style living and an amazing kitchen that is well-stocked with quality cooking equipment, making self-catering a breeze. We spent much of our time enjoying the views from this fantastic accommodation, but we also ventured out for some bushwalking and exploration in the nearby National Park. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub. There’s something magical about soaking in warm water outdoors while gazing at the expansive night sky filled with stars. It was a great way to unwind after a day of activities. Another charming aspect of our visit was the two dogs on the property, Jackson and Mitchel, both Australian Kelpies. They joined us on our bushwalks, and their presence made our experience even more enjoyable. All in all, I can’t think of anything that could have improved our stay. Just a tip for future visitors: make sure to bring all your essentials, such as milk, corn cakes, and bread, as it’s quite a journey to return for forgotten items. Abercrombie Ridge truly offers a luxurious camping experience without the hassle of tents, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with friends.

Our family loved our weekend at Highlands Lake House. Sam was amazing to communicate with. Location stunning. House had great atmosphere. We loved the log fire and fire pit. Highly recommend. Only comment would be to Stayz that it would improve information for people with additional needs if you listed each accessibility feature rather than just a generic ‘wheelchair accessible’ comment. (Eg step free access to different areas including showers etc.) if you provided hosts with different features to tick this would enable more accuracy and more ease with finding the right property for people with additional needs like electric wheelchair.
