It was good right off the highway 10 ro twenty minutes to the places we visited and gas station and food places 2 minutes or less to access. Staff very helpful.

The room was in fairly good repair and the staff were friendly and got things done. The road noise was a bit of a bother, and there was something making a hum of some kind, either associated with the elevators or the ice machine.

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at the Wyndham Garden Downtown Wichita. The boutique hotel my fiancé and I usually stay at was booked so when looking for another option we decided on Wyndham Garden based on their reputation and proximity to our activities (near the other hotel in old Town). When we pulled up to the WG, it immediately looked shabby and upon entering and looking around, we were shocked by the state of the lobby area. The ceiling panels were sagging, visible water damage was everywhere, chipping paint, unfinished floors, baseboards missing, holes in walls..it was disconcerting but we were hoping the rooms were in better shape. Which they technically were-they were pretty clean. Clean sheets and towels, but everything was just adequate at best. Then we noticed the curtains were stained, the floor wasn’t as clean as we thought, And there was an exposed electrical panel right next to the bathtub! On top of all of this, it was $40 more expensive than the pristine, clean, spacious, comfortable hotel that has so many more generous amenities we usually stay at. Overall very disappointing, unsatisfactory, and would have never booked this if we had known it was not actually run by Wyndham, it is independently owned and run under the umbrella of Wyndham. This is not an experience of a $160/night hotel-it is what I would expect from a $49 roadside motel.

We did not stay. The neighborhood did not appear safe and didn’t want to have the car overnight and didn’t want 2 toddlers there. The outside of the building looked ok but once inside it was not taken care of very well. Run down and had a horrible odor.

Bad management. Staff are not friendly. Is dirty and falling apart. Urgent maintenance and renovation. Unsafe, vecause electrical breaker panel inside bathroom/restroom. Cockroach dead in the hall. Elevators in bas shape. Staff don’t make your room unless you stay for 3 -4 days long. (This is stupid because people need clean room, sheets, towels daily).

We booked this hotel online based on the photos and description, but the reality was completely different. When we arrived, the property was extremely rundown and clearly not well-maintained. Even more concerning, there were several homeless individuals right outside the entrance — one was passed out, possibly under the influence, and others were arguing loudly and fighting. It felt very unsafe. We immediately decided we couldn’t stay there and asked for at least a partial refund, but the staff was rude and dismissive. They showed no concern for our safety or the condition of the property. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here. I suggest looking elsewhere if you want a safe and comfortable place to stay.

The room is run down. Paint peeling on the bathroom door, sink had no drain plug, tile was dirty, desk chair was cracked and peeling. Breakfast was terrilble, elevator quick working, coffee maker in the room didn't work.

The staff were all very helpful during our one night stay. Very appreciative of that. Our room had no TV remote. Extremely minor issue. But the TV wasn’t connected to their TV provider either. Two of the staff came up and spent 15-20 minutes in our room pairing a new remote and getting the TV connected. No ice machine on any floor I went to worked. Elevators stopped working in the morning. Breakfast was fine … scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, waffle machine, cereal, etc. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again by choice, but we had a relatively inexpensive place to stay for the night.

We reserved two double beds for two rooms. they didn't have any doubles left when we checked in at 6:30. they substituted a king suite with a pull out. the mattress was unspleepable. we called for at least one blanket for the pull out since none were in the room and were told they didn;t have one. the one king suite smelled like urine very strongly. the toilet wouldn't flush comletely. the ac made a roar everytime it started up. We were traveling with non family adults the whole experience was awful. I would like a refund. this hotel was rated good. it was awful. I would not stay again.
