It was great that the hotel offered discounted tickets for the tower. The room was spacious, but the low humidity inside made it very dry, and I was disappointed that I couldn't open the window.

The furniture in the suite was ripped. Room was musty smelling. Decor very dated. Carpet in hallway by elevator is a tripping hazard. In the main entry, very smoky and strong smell of canibus. Top of the World Restaurant was excellent. Great atmosphere, food, and service. Breakfast cafe was also very good. If you choose to stay here, pay extra for the updated rooms. Beware of the $50 useless resort fee.

I only stayed for one night and used one of STRATS older rooms, which had NOT been refurbished, for approximately $75. As I was only staying one night, it wasn’t too much of a big deal. One of their equivalent, updated rooms was $85. Whilst the room was clean, it had no fridge, and the pressure from the shower was extremely weak. From my experience, these days, most hotels have mini fridges. They also charged an additional $50 upon check-in, which was secretly lumped into the security deposit, which was not refundable. I could’ve stayed at a better hotel chain with better amenities for the extra money.
