Excellent facilities overall. Very interesting mix of old and modern. Beautifully restored. A couple of inconsistencies: 1) the room had Nespresso coffee pods without the machine and a boiler for water without instant coffee. After several attempts at getting coffee, they retrieved the pods and brought instant coffee. 2) WiFi is unstable in certain rooms.

I absolutely loved this hotel. Our stay at the Stary Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel is in the heart of Kraków’s Old Town, just steps away from the Main Square and is surrounded by charming streets, historical landmarks, and vibrant cafés - yet it remains a peaceful and elegant retreat from the bustle outside. The hotel’s spa and wellness area is located beneath the historic building and is absolutely stunning - a true hidden gem. There are two adjoining pools, a sauna and steam room which create a tranquil atmosphere that feels wonderfully indulgent after a day of exploring the city. Our room was very spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed - a perfect balance between modern comfort and traditional charm. The furnishings and finishes were luxurious and warm - my only complaint would be not enough lighting. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed from maps and umbrellas to taxis and tours. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome. Stary Hotel is the ideal choice for anyone wanting to experience Kraków in style and comfort. It’s a flawless combination of history, luxury, and exceptional service - would highly recommend.
