Ultimate bait and switch!Pictured was a beautiful brick home with circular drive and climbing vines expressing a nice, safe neighborhood with amenities. What I got was a distressed clapboard house in a rundown neighborhood where you could hear gunfire at night. It was converted from a single family house. I heard everything they were doing and I'm sure they heard me. The photo's posted of the interior were relatively accurate however. A previous review mentioned a broken bed frame which was still present so no attempt to make a repair. See the photos and be your own judge.

Parking was tight but manageable. Wouldn’t be able to fit anything much larger than an SUV. Check in was smooth, and clearly stated how to get into the house. Main issues were (1) cleanliness was suspect, there was still a used washcloth in the shower, floor felt a little sticky throughout the house and (2) no blackout curtains or similar light blocking, and neighbors had a bright light shining into the house all night/morning sun was very bright. Overall it did what we needed it to do, which was to be a spot to sleep but not to hangout in, but there are areas that could be improved to make the experience a 5/5

Leon's house worked out great for us. We just needed a place to stay for 1 night as we were attending a wedding. We did not do anything but sleep there so I cannot speak to any shopping or restaurants nearby. It was good for what we needed. It was clean and Leon was quick to reply if I had questions.

I liked it just surprised by other ppl

The location was chill I like being a couple blocks from the action. The house was clean and nice the price was good. We just didn't know that ppl would be staying there with us upstairs so we didn't know when we heard steps and taking what was going on. But it was a nice experience.

Good place to stay, reasonably priced

This was a comfortable place to stay overnight in Wilmington, an easy drive to downtown and back, off-street parking, and a simple check-in, all for a reasonable price. The kitchen floor could have been cleaner, but it wasn't a big deal because we weren't in the kitchen a lot. I let the host know and they said they would work to improve it.

Over all the place is lovely… It really just needs a good dusting and some upgrades. The bed was broken but repairs but not securely. Again nice place overall just needs to be dusted and upgraded. Also there is a neighbor upstairs and you hear everything. And neighbors Next door who are up early doing work in the back yard…

Everything we needed and were promised

Was in Wilmington to work a trade show at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Everything was as described and the communications with the host were great. Only about a 12 minute drive to the venue and lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive. It’s nothing fancy but for about the same price as a budget hotel room you get a kitchen, two comfy bedrooms and a living room.
