Have stayed here many times since we have family in Wilmington...it is nice being right on the riverfront with the nearby restaurants and walking opportunities. This visit was subpar in several ways but mainly due to staff indifference. Joe at the front desk was outstanding . Our main disappointment was in the breakfast offered. It is now an option at a cost and if we had paid for what we did get complimentary we woud have been very disappointed . Two out of three AMs the coffee was empty. Certain utensils were empty and had to be asked to supply. The fruit was not refilled when almost empty and one day all of the juices were at a low level. I am pointing this out as if you pay for a breakfast, it is expected to be worth the price. Our room was satisfactory and the cleaning staff were fine.The entire hotel is clean and has all the amenities that you need. It was just that breakfast!!!

Hotels.com suck. Booked a room through Hotels.com on the morning of 4/2. Reservation was confirmed receipt was sent and reservation # 72062206366969. Got to Hyatt hotel in Wilmington DE around 5 PM and they did. Not have my name in the system. Tried multiple times to contact hotels.com long with manager of Hyatt to speak with someone but we had no luck. I had to pay for a second booking with Hyatt costing me around $500. I want hotels.com to refund my booking with them and still can’t get a real person to discuss this with. The management at the Hyatt is top notch helping me get a room and trying to contact someone at Hotels.com
