Great breakfast buffet style. The property is a hidden gem. We went off season in November for a quick reset and relax. The sauna barrels are lovely has lake view. And the hottub is popular during the night. They have the pool open for cold plunges as well. Friendly staff and rooms were clean. Bathrobes were nice to have. This is my second time here and I plan to make it an annual visit.

Outdoor heated pool, whirlpool, and sauna - tranquil, serene, and amazing views! Quiet roads to get your steps in! Our dining experience with the buffet breakfast and the Windermere Pub was elevated! The light lager? 4 Fathers beer was a nice touch, too. The resort was very much focused on attention to detail and it delivered! It is a gem!

We arrived early, almost 2 hours before check-in but were welcomed and provided our rooms right away. We received excellent service at the spa. We were late checking out due to enjoying time at the spa. We notified that we would be late checking out and there was no problem. I will definitely return to the Windermere House!

The place is wonderful, I couldn’t ask for a better hotel, quite, romantic, great outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi, outdoor sauna, fire pit, mini cozy beach. I was celebrating my anniversary, they were nice to decorate the room and offered me a free wine, that was so nice of them. But what’s worth mentioning is whatever you do don’t book your trip through a third party and make sure to avoid room 314, book directly with them. They have their room reserved for anyone who book through Expedia or booking, and that’s what I got, although I paid extra I was disappointed by the room I got, it was the only room with a single window, low natural light and a bit dark, I ended up paying only half of the price.

This is a beautiful resort, with the perfect view. We loved the pool, hottub and saunas. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. This resort is about a 30-mins drive from Huntsville, where the closests restaurants and shops were. So you need to plan ahead. The rooms at the resort were old, bathroom was very small and very thin walls between each room. I was annoyed they allowed dogs which prevented us from being able to sleep due to barking. The resort was full, and there were people that were not staying at the resort to eat at the restaurant, so parking was an issue and we couldn't get a reservation in the restaurant for their Thanksgiving dinner.
