We enjoyed our stay here. My only criticism was the noise from the gym at 5 a.m., which was avoidable. Reception simpy said it was a 24hr gym, but good signage and possibly cctv with intercom could have been used to warn gym users regarding noise, i.e., please dont drop weights onto the floor

We enjoyed our stay and the only issues I had was no loungers in the pool area to lay and relax and the towels for that area are brutal.They are too small for drying off.The other complaint was breakfast.The eggs and meat was great.The fruit salad was also good but I cannot have lactose or gluten.So no milk for my cereal or oatmeal and no toast or any other bread products.Most hotels I go too have oat or almond milk for people with allergies and gluen free bread.

Long weekend stay

Front desk very responsive and friendly. Hotel within walking distance to restaurants and shops, nice promenade walk as well. While it was unfortunate that I experienced a drunken neighbor attempting to enter my room, front desk immediately responded and solved the problem. Aside from that, good hotel.

The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I really can’t say enough about the valet workers. They were prompt, helpful and cheerful. I did not like the price for valet parking or the muffins served during breakfast.

This was a great Hampton Inn experience! The location of the hotel was ideal for being in Portland without a car (mostly). The one night we did have a car, we were able to park for free on the street right outside of the hotel! The employees at the front desk were very helpful in navigating this parking situation. Additionally, they were very accommodating in keeping our bags wile we awaited our late flight on the day of checkout. This is probably the cleanest Hampton Inn I've stayed in and would recommend this to anyone visiting Portland!

Valet parking was efficient and wait time less than five minutes. Charge was added to my room bill. Breakfast choices included hot foods (eggs, potatoes) and cold (cereal, delicious fresh fruit, assorted breads) My room promised a waterview which was given and I appreciated the blackout shade to enhance sleep time.

It wasn't a pleasant stay. We arrived at the hotel at 330. Check in was easy. Except for the hold that wont be released for 21 days for no reason. It said sleeps we brought air mattress very little room for even 3 people. We asked for blankets due to toom being hot/cold not consistent. Requested them at 10:30 pm the guy at desk told me he'd get to it if he could due to them being on the 2nd floor. I offered to get them myself. Up till 3:30 girls were sleeping i was freezing. Housekeeper blew through the door at 10am terrifying the 4 teenage girls i had with me. Checkout is at noon not 10am. Pretty disappointed overall
