Beautiful hotel, friendly staff.

Beautiful hotel and very clean. All staff very welcoming. I had room 4 which i was happy with. I wouldnt necessarily have wanted that room during a heatwave because it was very stuffy with only a small window for air. But in the UK this is rarely a problem, lets face it. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, plenty of choice and vegan options available. A lovely hotel that I will be returning to (but will probably avoid August because of the hot room + menopause, iykyk).

Birthday stay

I booked a short break so i could include celebrating my birthday. I was lucky that the room i booked had a balcony. I booked an afternoon tea for my birthday which was fab. The meals in the restaurant i can't fault. I managed to book a back, neck and shoulder massage.

Disappointed at check in with extra charges

I arrived after booking through Hotels.com for the room at this Spa hotel to be told that as I was room only the spa use is not included and it would be an additional fee per day to use the facilities. No treatments, just pool etc. I said this was not made clear to me at booking and was told that is the problem booking third party sites. I am very disappointed with Hotels.com and have booked my next weeks stay direct at another hotel in the area.

Kept awake most of night by blokes who where drinking either outside or in room above. Netflix would not work although they did offer to come to room and sort it out but couldn’t be bothered by then. Bathroom was a bit tired and dated and shower was awkward to work

Absolutely beautiful hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfy. The only criticism is that £50 to use the pool and spa etc is absolutely extortionate…. Most hotels let hotel guests use these facilities for free, some higher end ones may charge around £10 or so which is fine….. but £50 is an absolute rip off. You can get 3 months gym membership for that. It is fleecing customers and made me not want to spend any more money in there like at the bar or restaurant etc.

Lovely stay

Stayed for one night. Charged extra fir checking in an hour early but needed to do this as attending a wedding. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Hotel was beautiful but a bit tired in corridors in places. Room was lovely .very clean . Plenty of amenities. Tea coffee. Biscuits. Shampoo etc. Ironing board.Iron.Fan. Two double beds but one was quite lumpy so we slept in the other. Got a good nights sleep. Nice and quiet. Would highly recommend
