Aside from no tv or air conditioning we were there for one night and weather was cool enough to open windows and just the 2 of us so without a tv was ok. It was a well maintained property. Only issue was that the bathroom shower was hardly big enough to move around in.we are not large people- I am only 4’10 and it was not easy to maneuver.
extremely helpful staff, facilities are immaculate and location very convenient inside the park .

Location was great. I thought our room would be much nicer then it was. No diabetic sugar packets with the coffee items in room or creamer packets for coffee

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Room is fine odd bathroom setup.
Bath tub difficult getting in and out , nothing to hold on to.
I didn’t realize it was a series of lodges. We liked the location and amenities and amount of parking. The fridge made weird noises throughout the night. Small coffee pot in room. No garbage bags though

Disliked: Amenities
One night day cost almost $700. When I booked it, I was told it was a Mountain View and then it was swapped out to a garden view. There is no air conditioning. There’s no microwave. The dining hall was excessively priced and very limited selection. For such an expensive night day, I would expect to have at least complementary coffee at the lobby, which there was none you had to pay for it. There was a note in the room stating that because of the limited parking you may have to park at the adjacent lot where the dining hall is.
Avoid the hotels inside Yellowstone at all costs. Yellowstone hotels are operated by private companies that bid (bribe FED officials) for multimillion dollar contracts. They're a complete scam, control everything, just like a cruise line, except with cruise lines once you board the ship everything is paid for. At national parks the opposite is true. Xanterra properties charge two and a half times the rates outside the park, prohibit any outside food vendors on their property. Room Service in their rooms is very poor. In DELUXE rooms they don't even provide a TV. If you want to throw away your money and contribute to the continuing FED government corruption stay at a Yellowstone property. If not, spend the extra time and drive outside the park for some outstanding accommodations and an enjoyable evening at the bar or restaurant of your choice.
Sheets were dirty, holes, stained same with towels and fan broken unfortunately the tub had lots of some else’s hair. So gross didn’t even use. They apologized and brought new sheets and were putting on and said “oh no these are dirty too” so had to get more. The location is excellent, in the park but camping in a tent would have been much nicer. Save yourself $600 a night and just camp! (No AC and 3rd floor no elevator or bellman available!) we still had a laugh and will make different choices next time. Yellowstone made it all worthwhile.
Was Good stay but the complex is huge. Was expecting more of a lodge type setting in the woods but it is a huge complex of many lodges (think hotels). But the central location is great, that's what you're paying for.
The canyon eatery was a joke and managed. Ran out of a specific food every time we were there and that was early in the service. The staff at the eatery had zero personality.
