They need a refrigerator in room. People picnic it would be nice to have a small one to store perishables in at night.

I booked with Expedia and selected two beds, i saw my email confirmation and it had 1 bed. I contacted Expedia and they wanted to charge me an extra $300 plus dollars for an extra bed when they were the same price on the reservation. I contacted Expedia and they are worthless, Expedia sucks donkey. They were going to have a supervisor contract me, but never did. The property is great, Expedia is horrible.
The lodge was beautiful, but we came in after dark and it was difficult to find where to check in. Convenient location for sightseeing. Wish we had more than 1 day!

We arrived to check in and all systems were down, but the hotel staff made arrangements and work through the issues to give us a room right away. The staff was friendly and accommodating , property was clean and centrally located for our Yellowstone itinerary. The hotel has a dining facility walking distance but the food is not the greatest. Not sure if its manage by the hotel; if so they need to hired a new chef. Other than that this hotel was excellent.
The beds are very soft and was an amzing topper to a long day of traveling. Getting checked in was a bit of a mess as there are reservations signs but nothing saying Canyon village lodge and cabins but there was signs saying that just building names. Staff the first night was ok. They have little buffalo in the room you can purchase as a keep sake. The food options were ok not alot of options.
Location is absolutely astonishing. But we’re here to feedback the hotel and not nature. The rooms are very clean and my two queen was generously spacious. There were no parking issues and checking in, despite a short wait time (largest accommodations in YS). Moreover, the counter person was informative, friendly and very efficient. Loved Yellowstone, loved the canyon and loved this hotel.
