We had a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony view of the Matterhorn, it was beautiful! We walked to eat easily. The room was plenty big for my husband and I and our 12 year old son.
A really nice view of the Matterhorn. The train tracks in the background were not loud at all, the train moved very slow and it was kind of fun to watch.

The room itself was good. However, it would have been nice if the hotel had provided in-room coffee or at least complimentary coffee in the lobby. They offered a buffet breakfast for 19 CHF, but that didn’t really work out for us because our daughter is gluten-free and our son is a picky eater, so there weren’t many suitable options. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t offer basic coffee to guests—that was a bit disappointing. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a short stay and were in and out, so we didn’t get a chance to explore the rest of the facilities.

This hotel was very relaxing. It was peaceful to sit on the balcony in the evening and listen to the river flowing by. The breakfast was very good. The staff was helpful.

This is a wonderful hotel! Great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and convenient location. Family owned and operated, which adds a nice touch. There isn’t an elevator, but the staff were very kind to bring our bags up and down. Highly recommend!

Nice little gem at Zermatt

I was on the fourth (top) floor, no elevator. Good exercise for me. Love the room and the view. Staff is friendly. The included breakfast was good.

Great property. Five minutes walk from the train station and five minutes walk from the main downtown area. Super clean room and the best bathroom on the 2 week trip. View of the Matterhorn was super. Small booking confusion was quickly and easily resolved by the friendly staff. They stored my luggage for the two hours pre and post check in and check out. Would absolutely stay here again. No elevator, so I can only give it a 9.5/10 rating.

The perfect hotel!

We had the most amazing time! The position of the hotel couldn’t have been more perfect, only a short walk from the train station and is opposite the train to the lifts on Sunnegga. We had a rental place next door which we received 10% discount from the owner of the hotel and they helped us sort a snowboarding lesson for the next day. The family running the hotel are so so lovely and the room was gorgeous and clean and warm. Also the bar and restaurant downstairs is amazing. Will definitely be back!
