The location is good, close to the train station and dining options, however, the room was exceptionally small and the beds were probably the most uncomfortable we’ve attempted to sleep in. Girl at the front desk was very nice and breakfast was just ok. Overall Zurich is not a place we’d like to visit again. Locals are not welcoming to visitors and that’s just disappointing.

I have stayed at the Altstadt several times over the years, it’s a great boutique hotel in an excellent location in the middle of the old city. Always very clean and accommodating.

Location was great but the bathroom in particular needed a deeper clean. The shower head wouldn’t stay in one place due to the water pressure that kept making it move around. Our stay was very loud because of street construction.

Great staff and excellent location.

Great service from the staff at Altstadt. They had our room ready when we arrived early from Australia and they also loaned us a Swiss plug adapter to use with our Europe one. The rooms are a touch small but the location is very quiet and the number 4 tram will take you straight to the main station.
