This was my 3rd time booking an apartment at the Embassy Gardens. I have to say, this time I am a bit disappointed: 1- Check-in takes way too long!! Whoever was supposed to welcome us and show us to our apartment came after a 30 minutes wait. 2-Once inside the apartment, although it seemed clean, there was a constant moldy smell. The ceiling throughout the apartment had small mold stains, suggesting there had been water damaged from the apartment above in the past. That’s a problem. 3-The receptionist registered the wrong apartment number under my name, which caused my car to systematically be unable to access the underground parking. I expected more professionalism for the price I paid.

The apartments were beautiful, loved the coffee shop too. But the check-in process was a bit of mess. Lots of waiting around. And then twice, maybe 3 times once we were checked-in and in our room, we were disturbed by staff. So think they need to make the check in process more efficient and effective.

Our biggest challenge was communication. For example, free breakfast was part of the packaged. They did not explain it’s not free breakfast at the cafe onsite. You need to order it and it’s brought on site. That was not explained. The room was adequate but showing wear and tear. We had to beg for towels and soap. We never got the soap and had to purchase on our own. That also includes toilet paper. Our host was supposed to resolve these challenges and he did not.
