I liked the spaciousness of our room and having a balcony door I could open for fresh air. I don't like the trend of having glass walls or glass doors dividing sleeping area from bathroom. If anyone uses bathroom during the night or early in the morning the light shining out through the walls/doors disturbs or wakes up those still in bed

Hotel extremely tired, stayed here in 2008, not much has changed. Still has old style downlights & extractor fans in rooms - not energy efficient. Was on level 1 which has a massive balcony but door locked as there are no partitions installed between rooms - so subjected to aircon the entire stay. Reception area no background music or anything really in a massive empty foyer of some 64sqm. In dining area 3 ceiling pendants - 1 completely off lamps blown, the other 2 - each had a bulb flashing. On a positive the breakfast food was lovely. Bed on our room 106 was fantastic (must be newer) as mates bed in 108 was dreadful - so seems like there is a lack of funding and work being done only as needed rather than proper maintenance. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Property was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There is nothing around the hotel as it is an airport hotel but you can go into Canberra. An ideal place to stay if you’re flying the next day

Loved our short stay at Rockford!

What a surprise little gem on the outskirts of town. Close enough to walk into Rundle St Mall yet far enough away to be out of the hustle. Great rooms, great breakfast and would definitely stay again.

Handy location. Clean, friendly staff but noisy.

Location is handy but the noise in a room facing Hindley St on the Friday night was insane. They give out $10 vouchers if you skip getting your room made up. That was great, but then the bar was closed the entire long weekend. Rooftop pool is excellent.

My room backed on to the elevator, I could hear the elevator going up and day most of the night and early morning, making it hard to sleep. Room was very hot and stuffy when I first arrived, it was 32° outside and the aircon was switched off. If you know you have guests coming and it's a hot day maybe put the aircon on so it's not uncomfortable.
