This was a great stay. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. We had breakfast and juice the next morning—it was good and very reasonable. Tony was really accommodating. We came in late and he gave us a snack, knowing we were tired and hungry. Half of our stay was at an all inclusive down the street. When I come back to this area, I will definitely stay here, over the resort, anytime!

Excellent quaint gem of a property in an otherwise busy, touristy area. Service is amazing, can’t beat the views and a lovely homey feel to the rooms.

Our families favorite place on this coastline - Tony is amazing as are all his staff. Rooms are spacious and beds large and comfy. We used the kayaks and the water was crystal clear all the way to the reef. Food is delicious delivered to our room.

Excellent location, to be close 50 feet walk steps to the sea, the least is furniture and room are old, but room service and food 8 of 10 . I recomend this Villa de Rosas

We had room 301. This room has the kind of view that you close your eyes and imagine when trying to picture paradise! The layout is ideal with a full kitchen, large dining table and a sunken living room with the sliding doors to that view. The decor was mostly Mexican which was nice although personally I would like to see the artificial plants/flowers go. It is not your streamlined shiny new kinda place but I loved it. It has everything you need. We didn’t use it but they do have a menu which they will deliver to the room, beach or poolside. The beach palapas are in need of repair. It didn’t matter to us as I spent most of my time on my balcony listening to the ocean, watching the palm trees sway and feeling the breeze. You can do wonderful snorkelling right off the beach here. We saw soooo many fish, a few squid and even a stingray. There is a wonderful little restaurant/bar right next door with swings and tables in the sand. It even had a live singer some afternoons. I am already thinking of ways to return to the property!

Villas De Rosa was a perfect resort for our family of four (two kids, 7 and 10). It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The food (room service) at the resort was the best in the area, reasonably priced, prompt and delicious. We ended up eating all of our meals there. Tony and Samantha were kind and responsive to all of our needs. The beach and pool were all we needed. The rooms are a bit dated and weathered but the AC worked perfectly (bedroom only) and we asked for some fans to cool off the rest of the living area. The beach wind kept it cool most of the time anyway. If you're looking for luxury, go somewhere else, but if you are looking for a wonderful and authentic Mexican vacation experience on the beach with no worries, there isn't a better place than Villas De Rosa. We will certainly be back.

Fab beach front high floor but , I was sensitive to cleaning products and couldn’t use towels , bought own pillow etc. but great stay for my needs. The property super chill which I love. Beach fantastic and can walk a fair way and Tony very accomodating. Communication and parking great. Shower excellent . Kitchen , stove, plates = perfect and coffee very good. I will stay again.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. Tony makes you feel welcome and at home. The Beached Bikini Bar is super friendly and fun. The condos are great for families. I highly recommend Villas De Rosa and look forward to visiting again soon!!

It’s ok!

Other than the beach, it’s not the nicest place. ( we got the pool view room). The bed had very weird college dorm room zebra sheets. The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet and I kept almost falling in each time. Pros: TV with Netflix/ Apple TV apps ect. Huge jug of water in the room. AC works great.

First time in Mexico with kids

I brought my in-laws, and my three kids for a week long adventure. We had the best time. Food was delicious at the hotel and beach grill. The bartenders were so patient with my pre-teen and teen constantly getting sodas. I hope we can come back soon.

They only have standard rooms and condos, so they can’t really do a room upgrade. It was a good place to stay for the price.
