Needs work

Asked twice for maintenance since bed lights were not working and never had anyone come and fixed them. The Mattress were too soft and could feel the springs, need to be replace. Carpets need to be shampooed. They were dirty. Location is great but hotel needs a lot of work.

Very clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there was not an elevator and the stairway was quite long. Another customer helped me get down the steps with my luggage. Also, kinda funny, but the body wash was by the sink and not in the shower where the shampoo and conditioner were. The internet code did not work.

Bathroom was in poor shape. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Served from 6-9. We got there at 8:30. Two hard as rock biscuits left for the biscuits and gravy. Tables not wiped off. Price was reasonable though. I guess we got what we paid for.

Rooms in need of a thorough cleaning!

Rooms need to have a complete cleaning; bathroom and room walls have stuff on walls and need a thorough scrubbing. Room needs a thorough dusting. Bathroom mirror needs cleaning daily; especially when the previous guests check out. The carpets need a thorough vacuuming and shampooing. The desk chair was broken. The mirror wasn’t cleaned upon check in; it had spots from previous use of guests and counter also has spots/smudges. Facility doesn’t offer late check out. Housekeeping is knocking on the door and couldn’t even wait until we left the room to start removing the bedding. Stating they get upset if they don’t have all the laundry by a certain time. I was trying to pack up my bag and she was bumping into me. We’ve stayed here multiple times and the various rooms are in the same condition; needing a thorough cleaning, desk, curtain needs repaired/replaced. We haven’t had an opportunity to use the pool or have the breakfast. Facility would be great if these issues/concerns are addressed.

Last minute hotel was hopeful since we had stayed at the Holiday Inn next door before. The cleaning ladies make the difference. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly as we had to change rooms due the toilet not flushing. The next room had holes in the carpet and the place is need for a serious remodel. However, the most disappointing was the pool that looked like “Creature from the Black Lagoon” with algae that had not been maintained. We tried the hot tub limitedly. Be careful outside as there were used syringes that I disposed due to the kids almost stepping on it. New management and remodel needed.
