The room was clean and the complementary breakfast was pretty good. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 restaurants within walking distance were closed down but the the one that was open was just a block away and had great food.

Red Roof Inns are usually out go-to due to their well-known pet friendliness policy. However, this facility was disappointing. When we arrived, there was a long line at check-in and only one person to help. Later I saw the line persisted into late night. We booked and pre-paid for a suite, but they didn't have one and we had to take a regular room. The Wi-Fi they provided (contracted by Macrotech) never worked for any of our 4 devices, as the supposed redirected log-in page failed to load. The staff wasn't knowledgeable enough help, only saying "it works for everyone else." There were other maintenance issues. There was a hole on the bathroom door that wasn't repaired, apparently for a while. The room's window had a wood stick propped shut, maybe because the latch was broken (we didn't bother to check). The ice machine on our floor was out of order the whole time, with water leaking, flooding the hallway. All in all, it wasn't an experience we expected for the price we paid.

The red roof inns look worn from the outside but at least in Tucson and Albuquerque the rooms are renovated and very nice and clean. The pet friendly policy is a huge plus. They are not always in the best areas but the security seems adequate. The Renovated rooms are a great value for the price.

Honestamente si pudiera le hubuera dado cero estrellas. Muy mal servicio el cuarto estaba muy sucio y con manchas oscuras en las sabanas y no sirve nada ahi como el baño no servia, las puertas no cierraban, el refri sucio y la bañera quebrada. La tele no servia..... TODO ASQUEROSO!!!!

The sheets were dirty i had to use my own blanket to sleep on and the shower had hair in it looked like it wasnt cleaned at all so couldnt take a shower before hitting the road on a long trip.
