We stayed at this hotel but it wasn’t a hope skip and a jump away from Amsterdam. We chose to take the train there everyday which was expensive. We don’t mind being away from the direct location we wanted to go too (Amsterdam) but this for us was just too far. The hotel was nice, staff very kind but the breakfast was not good at all. It was the same thing everyday, good idea to change it up. We were there for 1 week. Would we stay here again, probably not.

Nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. I stayed while bicycle touring and appreciated that they have a secured, locked area for guests’ bicycles. There are several restaurants in walking distance and a quick-food store across the street.

Parking was good. Parking rate for visitors of the hotel was not that expensive compared to most of the hotels. Friendly staff. We didn’t liked the breakfast. One of the days the bacon was not good. No bar soap in the bathroom. Pool closes a bit to early.

Spacious family room

We just had one night here, but the family room was extremely spacious, just like the photos. Beds comfortable. Mini fridge, 2 large bottles of mineral water supplied. Kettle. Very clean, large shower room. Almere itself is a modern town but felt safe and clean, the Grote Markt square was very happening, with numerous restaurants and bars around it. Close to station, some reviewers even used it as a base for Amsterdam.

The location of this hotel is super convenient with the shopping centre in walking distance and the train station just on 3 mins walking distance. There is a Spar convenient store just accross the road of basic groceries shopping. The property and the rooms are not super modern, but they are nice and OK.

Asylum center/refugee hotel

Room was nice and clean. However apparently the hotel is merely an refugee/asylum center and we had strange encounters in the hallways and elevators. Not likely going to stay there again until it will be a regular hotel again

Wonderful

Quick, friendly check in and out. Staff are professional and friendly. Appreciated the cafe in the lobby open both morning and evening. Will look for Plaza Premium hotels for future trips.
