Ambleside Hotels with Parking

Perfect place to switch off. The food was excellent, not a huge menu to choose from but there was something for everyone. Prices seemed high at first glance, but I can assure you that you definitely get what you pay for. really good. The homemade sourdough bread!!!! amazing, would return just for that. (honestly it is something else) The staff really make this place wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The room was really nice, really clean and comfortable. The SPA, this was really wonderful, the treatments were exceptional, and the facilities were amazing. Location was great, we walked into Ambleside on the opposite side of the lake and caught the bus back (559) to the hotel after some shopping and a shandy.

It was a lovely hotel, with friendly staff. The room was beautiful, a little noisy from the room above on the first night of our stay (which kept our little boy awake). However this did not affect how much we loved this hotel. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Not to mention the brilliant location. We would have loved the tipi to have been up so will definitely return once that is in place. We stayed in the Loughrigg suite - A great small addition would be some coat hangers behind the door upon entry to hang outdoor coats but everything else was perfect.

Amazing stay! Clean and with some history too. Excellent location to all places we visited. Staff were really helpful when needed & pleasant. Food was a bit out of our budget but we did eat here & you can see why the quality of food was impeccable. When can we come back?

A beautiful property with everything you need. The spa was very small but we ended up being the only two people in there from 18:30 till 20:00. The dinner was delicious and breakfast was lovely. The staff were attentive and helpful. A really lovely last minute getaway.

Great couple of nights, great breakfast. Close to centre of town and bus hub.
