Beautiful room with amazing view. We thoroughly enjoyed the food both at breakfast and evening meal. Would come again in a heartbeat!

Lovely weekend away at Lakeside Hotel. I couldn't fault the staff, very attentive and always happy to help. The lake view room and food were great. Robes and slippers provided in the rooms for spa use. Parking is behind the aquarium only a short walk away and is free for hotel guests. Will definitely be staying here again!

Always nice

Our room (325, King bed with lake view) was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hotel location is excellent, a couple minutes walk to the ferries, good restaurants, shops and even the Victoria Wood theater (fun show!). The staff was courteous and unobtrusive. The breakfast was plentiful - and “unhurried” to get a table and to get the cooked food. We hope to stay again someday.

Cocktails were not the best and breakfast was masses produced sadly. Everything else was wonderful though!
