All was well overall however I found the cleaning was substandard, “clean” towels had long stands of hair in them. Daily cleaning was simply pulling the bedsheets on the bed.

Noisy Air con. Can't switch off/reduce fan speed

Had stayed at the hotel previously, so chose again. The only significant problem is that the air conditioning in the room cannot be switched off or altered. This meant that the fan was on a noisy setting all night. Luckily I had ear plugs which I had to push well in to eliminate the noise. if it weren't for this, I would have given it a 4-5* rating. If I hadn't had ear plugs, then I would have given 1* due to the difficulty of getting to sleep

Pros : Quiet location. Quiet hotel. Very near the tram. Nice Indian restaurant, the Pakwaan, a short walk away. Cons : noisy extractor in bathroom all through the night. Towel used once and hung up was replaced with clean. Reception pushed Lucia’s next door for food but did give directions to some other places if asked further.

Place was perfect for the price. Staff werent overly friendly but very professional and polite. Location is a bit out the city, but its a nice place. Little park nearby aswell that is lovely. The tram in front of the park will take you into the city, with just 1 change but with public transport in Holland no need to worry over the change. Most we waited was 5 minutes. An uber is about 24 euro. Quite happy with our stay, only complaint would be the air conditioning is a bit weak. Couldnt lower the room temp lower than 20 according to the thermostat. But overall very nice

We were sure we had booked the larger room with three single beds but were given small room with one bed in cupboard. I definitely paid the extra for larger one but they made me pay an additional €30 to change the room. Unfortunately it didn’t specify what type of room I booked on Expedia website or my receipt

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but basic. It is one of the more affordable hotels in Amsterdam, but this comes at the cost of being removed from the city centre. There are bus and tram stops a short walk from the hotel, however. There isn't much choice for dining in the area, which seems to be a student campus. However, it is a short trip on public transport, or a walk, towards Station Zuid, where there is plenty of restaurants. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

Certainly is basic. Bathroom was dirty & smelled awful. No table next to beds to put anything on. Also very expensive the night I stayed.
