Quiet and convenient

Friendly check-in. Easy to Metro. The hotel is not the Ritz; a bit spent but central, clean and quiet (was on 4th floor). Room was adequate and big enough to move around in. Comfortable bed and hot water. Daily cleaning if you don't put out Do Not Disturb sign. Breakfast was available and coffee was free. Would have been willing to pay for a latte from a push button coffee machine used in other hotels I visited. BBC and CNN on TV.

The LOCATION is in the best corner of the Dam square, which itself is in my opinion the best location in Amsterdam for pedestrians. Across from the 5-star Hotel Krasnapolski, which is excellent in every way. Rho is close to many popular restaurants, bars, canals, with short bridge to the red light district. That said, the rooms are extremely efficient, small, and therefore more noise than a larger hotel. The bed I slept in was one of the most comfortable ever, but just for one.

Always a go to hotel situated in the centre of the Old Town. Excellent breakfast buffet. The staff are full of fun and helpful and professional. Rooms are a little dated but comfortable and quiet considering where you are.

Central location

I changed my booking original hotel booking to come and stay at Rho Hotel instead ay the last minute and I'm glad that I did. Situated right on Dam Square. Its a great location for food, drink and of course things to do in Amsterdam. The concierge staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and had information to give you. The room was fantastic. Comfy double bed, room to move around in and the bath is one of the best I've used. When they said it was a deep bath they meant it. Also the water is perfectly hot so as someone who likes to have a deep long soak in the bath. This was perfect. I’m a disabled solo traveller and this hotel was in a great location not too far of a walk for places to visit. I'm hoping to come to Amsterdam again in a couple of months and I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again.

The location is excellent. It is less than 100 yards from the Metro. Great shopping and eating business nearby. The rooms were a good size but need more lighting. It always felt dark even though the window shades were opened.

Slick check in. Room was mint. No hot drinks in room but freely available from reception. Perfect location to walk out first morning right onto Dam Square. Stayed previously 20 years ago and still great.
