A loud road splitting the 2 haves of the hotel Crossing the road was dangerouus A false fire alarm went off at 3:38 am no one ever told us what to do or to evacuate!!!

A beautiful hotel with a lovely restaurant. Natural swimming pool was beautiful. Close to Salzburg - an easy bus ride from outside the hotel.

Beautiful historic building, wonderful staff.

Our stay at the beautiful 16th century Der Schlosswirt zu Anif was lovely. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to Kahlil (apologies for incorrect spelling of your name) who was very helpful on our arrival and during our stay. Being such an old historic building, with solid old oak floors all over, it creeks and cracks when you walk across your room which in the day is charming but at night you will wake your sleeping partner. That aside, the place is true to its age and history and as it should be. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable along with the big fluffy pillows. We used the sauna which was lovely and then braved the outdoor pool which was chilly initially but once in and swimming the chill wore off. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was delicious and exquisitely presented. With local wine suggestions from Kahlil that complemented our meal. Equally breakfast in the morning was good with plenty of options for continental or a menu for cooked dishes as well. We would recommend for a nostalgic experience, be aware that there are many taxidermy animals around the building, which didn’t bother us.

Above and beyond is the best I can say about our satisfaction with this place. Staff, condition, room, breakfast buffet which was included, dinner was amazing and very delicious. A very great experience. I have to say we’ve been in a lot of places like this all over Europe but this topped off all of them.

A beautiful inn in Munich!

The schlosswirt inn is absolutely amazing. The service is excellent, the food delicious, the room very charming and comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful! The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to our next visit!

Such a wonderful property that words can’t describe. Breakfast was superb, the sauna was rejuvenating, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. 5 minute walk to bus stop that connected us to everything we wanted (bus #25 to Salzburg city center, #840 to Lake Königssee). We truly loved our stay here and highly recommend this property to all visiting this beautiful area!

It is amazing. you feel like you were in a xvi or xvii century house just a few steps from am Austrian Castel, not huge though in the middle of a small lake. It is our 3ed stay at this hotel. With a bus stop a few steps away, to get Salzburg downtown in about 25-30 minutes.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was very nice with a gorgeous view to the mountains and a very comfortable bed. Level of service was fantastic, great breakfast, lovely sauna and friendly staff all around. We also enjoyed lunch at the hotel restaurant, which we definitely would also recommend! Bus into Salzburg is frequent, cheap and easy.
