A serviceable motel-like experience. Nothing fancy, but good price/value, free parking, and right on the Park. Downtown Christchurch is a 20 min walk.

This was the noisiest room I have ever stayed in. We may as well have camped outside on the grass next to the road. No noise insulation at all. Staff didn't understand English nor have a grasp of treating their guests with respect. This motel had the absolute minimum of everything, with the exception of road noise and unfriendly staff. You know when someone smiles at you when you are speaking but just wants you to go away.
