Admiral retreat

Beautiful property as described in listing. Just a few comments. Beds were amazing, showers and bathrooms were modern and clean, living TV was hooked up for TV AND we were able to listen and watch all or most show and news! My father in law used a walker and was easily able to move throughly to bathroom and bedroom. Enter and exit the home had just 1 step. Loved the room darkening shades in the rooms. Loved the nearby area and shopping. Loved the fan above the 4th bedroom where we slept. Furnishings were comf and attractive!! A couple of improvements needed. We had little ants everywhere in living room. Very small and on couch and in kitchen. We had no outdoor lighting when we pulled up at 10 PM. Very difficult to see front door or walkway at night. Couldn't figure out how to lower the AC below 76. We probably should have called about the AC but house was pretty cool. Overall we were there only at night and early AM.

Comfortable and convenient, but some misses…

This house was a comfortable, clean rental with decent space, and very convenient to Naval Academy and malls/shopping. Originally when we were searching for a rental, we were thrilled when we found this VRBO as it seemed to meet our needs and especially with it being dog friendly too. In the ad it stated that the backyard was “fenced in” which we were specifically looking for as we wanted to be able to let our dogs out run around in a safe/fenced environment instead of having to leash them up every time they wanted to go out. Well image our surprise when we drove up to see technically a “fenced back yard”, but NOT “fenced in” as the ad stated- both sides of the house are wide open and there is no way to close them up. May be we should have asked more questions before renting but if we had known that the yard was NOT secured or the ad had been clearer about that, we probably wouldnt have considered this property. Additionally, we also couldn’t really enjoy the backyard as we had hoped due to the massive amount of leaves all over- it was clear the yard had not been raked or leaves taken up for weeks. We have lived on the East Coast and know when you have big trees on a property, how the leaves will cover everything in multiple layers unless you stay on top of it so that was a surprise to have to deal with leaves everything and getting tracked in house due to the pile ups all over. So despite how pleasant the house was, that put a damper on our experience.

Great experience...

We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. We were attending a wedding the the Naval Academy Chapel with the reception at Akenson Tower at the stadium. It was VERY conveniet. I'm sorry we didn't have time to use the fire pit!

Our group had a great time here. There were plenty of bedrooms with king sized beds and a nice sized backyard to enjoy. There was a slight hiccup upon arrival as the place was not cleaned between guests, but when I reached out to the property manager they sent someone right away to clean up. Once cleaned, it was a great experience in the house.

Beautiful remodel in great location

This home is beautifully remodeled, very comfortable and in a great location. It is away from the congestion of downtown, yet so close to drive downtown and to the Yard. Communication was great, and the house was just as it is pictured. We absolutely loved that all bedrooms had King-sized beds. We were greeted upon arrival with a nice bottle of wine and welcome note.

Cute home with chic decor

Property was as described and shown in photos. We had 10 in our group, so 2 baths was a bit tight, but it was fine. Nice open kitchen and living room for good socializing. YouTube TV was nice to have for watching the Olympics. Convenient keypad entry and good communication with rental folks.
