The check in system was down when we arrived. This was my fiancées birthday getaway and it turned out horrible. We were not able to get into our room until 8 pm. We had dinner reservations at the sundial that we were unable to make it to because of the issues at the hotel. So I was charged 60 dollars for breaking my reservations. Then we were not able to get into our room until 8 so we lost 4 hours from our hotel stay in a Spey room with a view for her birthday. The staff was amazing but we lost a lot of money due to the issues they were having with the check in system. I feel our stay should be reimbursed or be given a free night. This stay was meant to be a special evening for her birthday and it turned out to be a huge let down to her.

The room I was given, was not ready; strong paint smell, air vent cover was left on the bathroom sink, and an air vent filter was on the wardrobe shelf. The staff were great, the rooms were nice and clean and had a view. I liked the sheets and pillows on the bed, ample outlets though one side wouldn’t work unless the master switch was on and that cause the big light to come on. Tv size was good and very fast WiFi. The location was perfect, Midtown was a very nice place to stay!
