It was a good clean hotel breakfast was okay and the receptionists some are nice others have an attitude for some reason. But overall a good stay a lot of people are friendly and welcoming.

The building is ancient. The interrior is dressed up enough to pass initial inspection. $35 per night just to park at the hotel is outrageous. Breakfast was below par. The eggs were swimming in water and the potatoes cold and wilted. Coffee ran out prior to breakfast closing but it was too close to closeing time to make more. I will not stay here again.

The receptionist that checked me in was rude. She never greeted me as a guest. When calling the front desk to advised them the room was not heating up after we were in the room for almost 25 minutes. Her suggestion was to stay in the room for an additional 30 minutes. If need she would place me in another room. Once I texted the number requesting a new room she had me come back downstairs instead of bring a key up which was on the same floor. The front desk made the entire experience horrible with her demeanor, rudeness and her not being customer centric. I even tried to do a light conversation with her to try to lighten the mode and she was still rude, but when she went to the other area behind the desk you could hear her laughing and talking to other staffers.

Quick extension of our Thanksgiving trip to Auburn to see the Atlanta sights. The area around the hotel felt safe during the day, but not so much after 8p. The hotel itself is nicely updated and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff was not very knowledgeable about the area. I’m from out of town and asked where the aquarium and Olympic park were. They n both said they didn’t know and I found they were right behind the hotel, just a block away. Hotel rooms are decent, hotel has been redone. The breakfast staff was wonderful. The ladies made sure everything was well stocked and asked diners if they could bring anything. They were the bright spot of the stay.

Yolonda was rude and nasty to my husband and myself after a long night of travel. Canceled my reservation for NO reason. We made reservation for an after hours check in. When we walked in she stated didn’t you get my phone call? We were like what? We were driving back from Gulf Shores where service was shoddy at best. We did not get that call. She said well since you didn’t pick up I canceled your reservation so I could run my night audit. Then she continued to gripe and we asked if she had a busy night. She said no so not really sure what he issue is but being the “night manager” she require a bit more decorum. Also, for a Hilton owned hotel I expected more from Hampton Inn. Yolanda if you hate your job so much I’m sure you can find something else to do.
