The check in staff were some of the more unfriendly staff members I’ve encountered. I know hospitality is a hard line of work so I come in & try be as pleasant as possible. Usually it’s returned to me. This was completely different. The gentleman checking us in was one of the most unpleasant people I’ve dealt with. When we asked about the pool later he was rude. There was no pool but we thought there had been. There were even signs that had pool covered with folded paper & tape as if there had been. When we tried to eat our dinner in the lobby area, a gentleman behind the bar watched us set up all of our food for us & the kids, then we walked over as we started to eat, to tell us that we couldn’t eat there unless it was hotel food & we needed go to another area two tables over. He wasn’t apologetic or empathetic. He was flat & rude. We made a mistake but he acted as if we were inconveniencing him and all of his non-business going on at the bar or lobby area. The room was nice & spacious… that’s the good thing. The staff even on check out seemed as if they hated their jobs by rolling their heads around while people walked out. Definitely only worth the room & nothing else.
