We enjoyed our stay at this property. The bed was comfortable and everything was new and clean. The area is quiet and we couldn't hear our neighbors. The only improvement I could suggest is an upgrade of the soap, you have to squeeze a large bottle to dispense and that was difficult for me.

No breakfast or extra blankets

We asked for a room as far from the elevator as possible when I booked, I understand it’s not always possible, but we were literally the closest room possible to the elevator (we didn’t check in late or anything - about 6pm). There was no breakfast - like no food out, all that was left was cereal and a couple bagels (45 minutes left of breakfast, too). There were probably 5 people at the time I was there who also came down for breakfast with no luck. I asked for an extra blanket and was told they didn’t have any… I’ve never not been able to get a blanket at a hotel before.

We come to Braves games once a month and usually stay at another property. Our first time at Tru was a bust. 1 towel in the room and no tv remote when we checked in. Went and asked for towels, told they would have some after the game. Realized there was no remote, family member went back down and asked for remote and towels. Given a towel and remote… A/C was broken. Never got below 78. Turned down to 65 before game, came back and thermostat was still at 78. Went to bed as it was late. Next morning around 8 am, asked for A/C repair or move to a new room. Didn’t get a new room until after 1 pm. When checking out I asked for the first night to be comped. Was told it would be figured out by the manager that afternoon. Have not been refunded to date. Other observations: hotel feels like a college dorm. Both rooms we had were marginally clean. Both rooms had a distinct musty smell. Floors were hardly clean and mold on ceilings in bathrooms.
