Very dissatisfied

I have stayed at Marriotts for years with my family and I’ve always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case for this experience. We arrived at the Marriott Courtyard to a bunch of trash and debris all over the ground as we walked in. There were also people Who appeared to be homeless saying around the farm. Walking in the way we be behind us walk in there was water dripping, and it was very slick. We had to be very careful to not fall. I understand things happen, but we were emailed a few hours before arrival saying that the hot water was out indefinitely.We still decided to stay because it’s a Marriott and we’ve had good experiences in the past. All the trash cans were filled and overflowing on the ground as we walked in both days. I went down to order and appeared to be only two people working and waited in line over 25 minutes and another 20 minutes to get food that was not hot. The coffee was so bad we had to order a 2nd cup, which still was not hot. I tried to order the breakfast that came with my reservation and many of the meals were not available because they said they were out. We tried to call the front desk a few times and when we did get through there was so much static we could not make out a word they said. There was only ice on 3 floors ours and many others were all out of ice. We asked for a late checkout which they granted however the did not note this on our account so we got stuck in the elevator and were not able to go up to our room.

Extremely disappointing stay – would not recommend. There was no hot water for over 8 days, and we were never given any advance notice about this major issue. Despite asking the front desk every day, housekeeping never came to clean the room. We had to buy our own toilet paper. Staff at both the front desk and the Bistro Eatery were rude and unprofessional. Overall, this stay was unacceptable — I would not recommend this hotel to anyone booking through Expedia.

Aside from the friendly, helpful staff, this property needs a serious makeover. The name Marriott once spoke volumes in the hotel industry. Unfortunately, this particular property did not represent that recognition very well.

The property happened to be replacing their boiler and so did not have hot water. We found this out at our check in. The room we got had AC that was not up to par and the mini fridge was missing from the spot. When we went to get ice to keep our snacks cool, we learned that the ice machine was not working. We got our room switched and while this room had a mini fridge, the AC was still not working well.

I went for my husband’s birthday, and this was one of the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. They did not have any hot water did not inform anyone until check-in and after looking into this, this has been going on for quite some time. It’s something they’re completely aware of, but choose not to tell until check-in when you can’t even get another place leaving you with having to stay with the reservation and the only comp that they give you is free parking which is ridiculous than $18 parking fee. The manager the woman at the front zero care in the world was actually rude about it They’re still operating serving food which I have no idea how they’re doing it. I don’t know how they can legally operate without hot running water for days and days on out actually looks like it’s been weeks from the reviews. This happens quite often they should be reported.
