Clean property. Beds were smaller than usual queen beds. I purchased parking and breakfast deal. While checking in I was briefed about breakfast location and timing. Once we came for breakfast, we were told that no breakfast would be provided today..!!

The parking lot had trash all in it for two days. Someone spilled something outside our room before we got there in two days later still there. We went to breakfast with from 6:30 to 9:30. We go down at a quarter to mine and there was nothing there. Day too they tild someone they were conserving. When we asked how to get to the boardwalk they were having a personal conversatio and were pit out tyatcwe interrupted them. The security guard was very nice and helpful Eddie.

Clean, comfortable, but needs more staff

The hotel itself was fine - rooms were clean and comfortable and every experience with a staff member was delightful. Parking was safe, as well. However, the only reason for my total score was that they need MORE staff. The bar/restaurant area I am used to at Courtyards was only open one evening out of 3 that I was there, and they only offered drinks. The "breakfast" was of such poor quality, I went down the street each morning to a cafe. Again, this is not what I am used to at Courtyards. So, if they could just get more staff for the breakfast and bar area, this could be an excellent stay.

Horror Hotel

The thermostat didn't work. It was hot in the room and I didn't sleep at all because of that. Also there were no supplies next to the sink- normally a hotel will have soap at the very least. No soap, lotion, facial wipes- NOTHING. No bath mat next to the shower- I had to use a hand towel. Worst Courtyard by Marriott I've ever seen.

The staff was not very friendly at check-in; it seemed like they didn’t really want to talk. I’m not sure if it was because we are Hispanic, I don’t know. But it felt like they weren’t comfortable speaking with me. Honestly, they were not kind. At no point did they tell me we had to pay for parking, yet we were charged $18. Also, the sheets were dirty — they hadn’t been washed or changed, and the room smelled really bad.

We used our stay as a hub and went to other cities during day. We would go out and play and return in the evening. Two nights we would come back in to a room that was not serviced. That was discouraging. I told the manager and she discounted our stay. That helped but I would have rather not had to complain. Another issue was the continental breakfast was really hit or miss for an expensive night stay.

Perfect location for an AC Boardwalk stay. Parking was an additional charge but lot right next to the building. Room was clean and comfy. Did have a slight musty odor with the AC on. Overall good experience.
