The hotel is extremely dated and dirty. The Borgata tower rooms are aesthetically outdated but worse — covered in dust; while the showers have mildew. Front desk staff were rude. They don’t actively communicate any information about their incidentals charges leaving everyone confused and angry when thousands of dollars are taken out upfront. It’s a simple communication to make — but then they get annoyed when you ask them about it. I wrote to the hotel management about my experience immediately after it happened, and was completely ignored. The table servers in B Bar were rude for no reason. It’s a shame because most others, especially security guards and restaurant staff, were such a delight. They don’t make FREE water accessible, which is dangerous and sinister. Don’t expect to find a single bottle of water in your room, or a water fountain to refill from in the casino. I had 2 basic hair blowouts done at the spa — medium hair length — and paid $200 in total for subpar execution. I’ve never paid that kind of price anywhere else in the world, literally. There’s a 20% service charge and only a small portion goes to the stylist, as confirmed by spa staff. Criminal. Convenience stores are outrageously priced. Definitely won’t be staying @ Borgata again with all the better options that are more centrally located. I remember the years when Borgata was seen as a desirable location; what a huge fall from grace. I should’ve listened to reviews. Lesson learned.
