First night I get there I check in, didn’t know there was a $40 deposit in cash only. I had to run to an atm, when I came back there was another party about to check in and the older woman was at the desk asking and he saw me come back in, “I need to take care of the customer behind you” he said. Then the woman said “no im a customer” and then he said “he was here before you.” She moved to the side, I was going to say she could have gone ahead and he could have moved back to me in a little bit. I was not in a rush. I finally get in my room and right off the bat it smells musty and like old cigarettes. Thought I wasn’t going to get the deposit back since the room was non smoking (thankfully I did). The night I’m there I fell asleep around 12. Got woken up by someone POUNDING on the door at 3 am two times. Thankfully I deadbolted, put the chain on and put two chairs in front of the door. I was up till 6 am scared outta my mind. The bathroom was sketchy with mold in the shower ceiling. The outlets didn’t let you plug anything into them. My block would keep falling out, so I had to charge my phone in my car. I didn’t trust the bathroom so I didn’t use the water from the shower or sink. The sheets smelled and had burn marks in it. I stayed away from the motel till I absolutely needed to go to bed. Thankfully was only there for two nights but never again. I saw other reviews after I checked, they were right spend the money at an actual hotel

Check in took a long time. Ask for $40 in cash tor deposit while we already paid. Lighting in the room was very poor. Lamp shades were all worn, carpet was dirty, TV was not working, no coffee maker.

At check in, they should really post on website that they only want Cash deposit upon check in. They only had one towel in the room. Stated house keeping is after 10 am. The curtains were thin and you get all the light coming in. The rooms are in need of new lighting, rugs and updated shower. The attendant wanted everyone’s ID upon check in. In the morning when I asked for towels, I only got 1, I told housekeeping if it’s max 4 people which I had, (2 children and 2 adults) then I should have 4 towels and she refused. I ended up buying towels down the road at family dollar. I will not stay there again.

not worth consideration

The bed wasnt too bad, the state of the room itself was terrible. The door to the room looked uncleaned for ages. Carpet dirty and sticky. No hooks or hangers available to hang clothes/ wet towels in bathroom/ closet. The food options on Rt 30 is great with a wide variety of cuisines and Aldi/ Shoprite just across the street.

The place is nasty. There was pee all over the toilet and lots of short hairs on it. The bathtub was so sticky and nasty as well. We had to cross the street and buy some clorox and candles. The mirror was ridiculously dirty… Non-smoking room is was smelling like an ashtray, the property is not clean at all, lot of garbage on the floor. My card didn’t open the room when I got in the hotel at 2am and staff is a bit slow to get stuff done. I paid $174 but that room should not be more than 60$ a night. Very bad experience, will definitely not get back, I sleep in my car but not there!

The good: hot water once I realized the handle was in backwards. A/C worked even though the filter has probably never been changed. The bad: RUDE staff at desk. The dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. Carpet so deeply dirty it has that sticky grease feeling. Large cobwebs everywhere. A dirty piece of tissue shoved into the crack on the table. The chairs had stains that made me think of you sat down something wet might ooze up. No pillow cases. Stains on mattress and linens. Broken lights x2 and to dispenser but that truly didn’t matter when I didn’t want to touch anything in the room. Pay whatever you have to not to stay here. The DOH should probably close them. This is not an exaggeration.
The least of the issues
That layer of dirt on the door was the first indication of the filth to come.
Chairs should not have stains that look like someone was incontinent.

This was the worst decision for hotel. I didn’t have a lot of money but I did not feel safe at all. There were no lights and EVERYTHING was stained and I couldn’t breathe in the room because it was so dirty. It made me feel so sick Couldn’t last to stay the night. Zero stars.
