I booked oceanfront and they carelessly gave me bay front when we arrived. No advance notice, no apologies, no compensation. Very uncaring and unfair. Simple cheaters.

The bathroom could use some updating. There are cracks in the tile. It took well over an hour for housekeeping to bring sheets for the sofa. The lobby coffee shop is meh. The ice cream and pastries are not inviting. The room itself could use more light.

Our partial ocean view room was very spacious and comfortable. Our view from the balcony was breathtaking with views of both sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the city. The pool was heated perfectly and so beautiful to swim in the cooler temps we experienced. We had no difficulty getting chairs together by the pool. The only issues we had with the hotel was the dated, worn bathroom in our room that are in desperate need of renovations. Our shower head was loose and the tap was missing a cover and very stiff and difficult to turn on. Lots of black (possibly mold or mildew) around the tiles and on the floor. There was also a hair in the tub from a previous guest. The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush unless you held the handle down the entire time. The sitting area in our room had stains on the seats so we avoided using them. We made the best of our stay since the remainder/public area of the hotel was beautiful and clean but for the cost of the hotel we expected better. Staff overall were friendly. We called down to the valet 20 minutes before we were ready to check out so that our car would be ready. When we got down, they had pulled someone else’s car around instead and scrambled to find our keys and we ended up having to wait for our car despite our efforts. The valet cost $58 each night for our two night stay and we only requested our car once since we relied on Lyft for our outings so it was very disappointing. All in all the hotel room could use some improvements.

We have stayed multiple times at this property. Will never stay again due to terrible experience we had this time. Although check-in was at 4pm after waiting since 2pm they said they put a priority on our room which was obviously a lie. We were not able to check in until 5pm and they kept telling us our room was almost ready. I was travelling with a handicapped mother who really couldn’t do anything until we were able to check in to our room. We had to cancel dinner reservations we had. Also I had booked an expensive suite and just asked to give us another room instead, they refused. They offered nothing to correct the situation. Terrible service, very unfortunate experience. I have never stayed at a hotel where my room wasn’t ready at check in time. That is the most literally the most BASIC expectation of any hotel service.
