Recently discovered these gems and havent stayed with another company since! ES has been my favorite but this takes second due to the balance of price adjustment and quality. Stay away...

Bed was clean but mattress wore out. Had coffee maker but no cups. Not even a plastic cup in bathroom. No ice machine but had ice maker in fridge BUT turned off. Location was surrounded by homeless but did have security.

Freeway proximity.

Clean enough. Right off the freeway, so not much to do close by, except we discovered St. Elmo Brewing in the neighborhood on our second day. The neighborhood just to the east is pretty rundown.

I was in Austin for a wedding. I'm from Houston and was preparing the wedding cake and grooms dessert table. I needed a hotel nearby that offered a full size refrigerator in the room that could accommodate a 4 tier completed wedding cake. I was extremely happy with our accomodations and the room had everything that I needed. I would stay here again, room was clean, desk staff was extremely pleasant during our late night check in, plenty of parking and easy access to freeways.

You Can Do Better

The good news is the room was clean. The hotel property is dated and the location is questionable. The staff was not very helpful and there was no housekeeping service during our four day stay. We had to go to the front desk each day for towels and extra toilet paper. And, surprise, for some crazy reason they charge $5 a day just to park in their lot.
