Front desk had a great employee when we checked in; wish I knew her name. She showed us around the area as if it were her own home. Made us feel so welcome. overall the property needs a remodel. Most outlets in our room were not working, there weren’t enough/any charging stations, awkward layout & terribly stained carpet. Good bed, nice shower with immediate hot water & very quiet were positives. Hotel location was pretty convenient .

The Hyatt Baltimore/Owings Mills was dirty, run down, smelly, dingey, grimmy, the phones in the room were broken, the thermostat didn't work. We were in 3 different rooms because the first one smelled awful, like someone had smoked a million packs of cigarettes & the phone didn't work, the 2nd room the thermastat didn't work and the 3rd room the thermastat didn't work but we stayed anyway since they clearly didn't have anything better! I will never stay at another Hyatt again!

The property is the great property and the staff tries to accommodate. It's conveniently located near shopping, movie theaters, and easily accessible to the highway.Unfortunately they seem to be short-staffed and you cannot always get what you need when you need it. What they need to fix, the rooms should come with microwaves and they need to get better Wi-Fi. Also staff should not be allowed to park in the handicap spaces.

The first room I had smelled full of cigarettes. I asked for a second room and in the sink was hair and tooth paste marks. The room was obviously not cleaned properly at all.

Let me begin with saying the hotel staff and room were great. The staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful. When we arrived at the property we had concern about a vehicle in the front lot that was on blocks and had no wheels. When we were heading to breakfast in the morning we found a spent gun shell on the ground in the elevator. The police were called and collected it, but also confirmed to us that the wheels were stolen the day before off the vehicle. I post this info so you are aware to watch your surroundings if you stay here.
